In addition to serving as an adjunct faculty member at Western New England University, Jennifer Zarcone recently started as an Associate Professor in the Department of Child and Family Studies and Co-Director of the Florida Center for Inclusive Communities at the University of South Florida. She was formerly the Chief Clinical Officer and the Director of the National Autism Center at the May Institute. Prior to that, she was an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University Medical School and the Kennedy Krieger Institute.
Dr. Zarcone provides consultation and clinical support to staff around challenging and interfering behavior, staff training, and developing and maintaining clinical service standards.
Dr. Zarcone has served in several leadership positions for the Association of Behavior Analysis (ABAI), including co-chair of the ABAI Autism Conference, and is a Fellow of ABAI. She served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, the Journal of Intellectual Disabilities Research, and the American Journal of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. She was on the advisory board for the Women in Behavior Analysis conference for 5 years.
